A Week with the Mafia Gals

Mafia Gal: Evelyn Kiss

This will be Evelyn’s first published book! The fact that she’s amongst such a fabulous group of talented female authors doing the damn thing in this vast publishing world, is just a bonus!

She and Sonya Jesus (which you’ll learn more about on Day 6) have written the first of this SIX Book Anthology, One Reason to Kill.

About Evelyn

My life’s pretty much been about finding the sweet spot of life, surrounding myself with people with kind hearts, and enjoying the little time we are granted on earth. If I could, I’d spend every day with the people who make me happy and writing. I’ve been writing poetry since the age of ten and creating stories in lyrics since I was six and pretending to be in a rock band with my cousins.

Question & Answer

  • What was the simplest romantic gesture you’ve ever received?

When someone remembers details about my works, even though they have no idea what it means.

  • Who’s your favorite character? Why?

I really like Chains, aka Santi, because he’s basically a hybrid of our brains. We took a character Sonya created and developed him into some I absolutely love.

  • If you could, how would you help the Indie Writers Community?

Create a scholarship to publish one Indie Author’s book per year.

  • Why did you choose your genre?

In this case, I wanted to write with Sonya. I thought this would be a great opportunity to not only work with someone talented, but also learn from her. It just worked out!

  • Name one song that always makes your writing playlist.

Anything by Sia!

As usual the giveaway is to COMMENT, SHARE, FOLLOW in order to be entered in the monthly $10 Amazon Gift Card Giveaway. Winner will be chosen April 1st! (That's just a coincidence LOL)
